the winnebago has a fiberglass roof. the bounder probably has either a TPO or rubber roof. case closed. in your price range are these on the "new" Ford or improved workhorse chassis or on the old P-30/32?

Hold on there bumpy, that's an opinion not really factual. Thousands of rv's running around for decades with TPO and no issues. To the OP, TPO is a thermoplastic membrane. It's VERY tough stuff and it's flexible so not prone to cracking. It will last for 10 years or more and it's cheaper to replace or fix than fiberglass. Many new RV's use TPO over fiberglass. It's lighter, and easier to deal with than fiberglass. Fiberglass has it's advantages too but it's certainly not a deal breaker.I would concentrate more on floorplan and what you want out of a coach than brand. All are built on the same chassis, and all have the same components. It's simply a matter of fit and finish and that can be contingent on the day it rolled off the line. Frankly I think they all have pretty much the same quality. If you hid the manufacturer badges and walk through 10 different brands I seriously doubt you could tell me which brand you were in based on fit and finish.
anybody who would recommend choosing either a TPO or EPDM roof over a fiberglass one is somebody who I would ignore as far as buying advice and it is a deal breaker as far as I am concerned. at least a rubber one is.
