You probably would prefer to mount the swm for your directv inside the mh although it could be mounted on the roof. The power inserter would need to be inside the coach with access to a 110v outlet.
You would then only need to run one cable to each SWM enabled receiver to get multiple channel recording.
I run two cables from my Mini/Max dome and the portable dish to the inside swm switch but only one cable to each receiver and can record 5 channels at the same time on the H34.
