What's the general opinion of the Fleetwood Discovery Motorhome? Build quality? Price?

To the extent that a trusted manufacturer is taken over by a bean-counting conglomerate, yes it does. Safari quality certainly suffered under Monaco, IMHO.
With diesels, you have the whole pre-DEF, post-DEF and DPF eras.
I recognize your point about pre DEF and the post error, but Fleetwood hasn't been taken over by a bankrupt company and ended production. (or has it? )
