Fleetwood Discovery windows fogging

Hi all,
I'm looking at buying a 2006 Discovery. the driver's side windows are fogging. Any ideas how much it costs to fix this and where one might go to have the work done? Would a regular automotive glass shop be able to handle it?

  • I "assume" there is some reason that the OP wants/needs this exact unit? why buy trouble unless the price is slashed way low.

  • Had the same problem with a Newmar Canyon Star.
Went the expensive route since it's a safety issue. Both sides of
my rig had fogged windows. Couldn't get to Suncoast in a timely manner.
Apparently, many 2006 - 2007 coaches used an inferior seal and hench, problems.
Newmar gave me a deep discount on the windows. I had them installed at my local
glass guy's place. Had I the time to get to Suncoast, I would have saved over $1000.
  • another thumbs up for Suncoast. we had a number of windows done a few years back and all are still clear. some of the windows were smaller and they gave us a 50% discount on those. if you're not near florida or won't/can't go there are several other outfits that claim to do the same thing.

    - RV Fog Doctor (Arkansas)

    good luck.
  • I went to sun coast also. I think after first one, others are $200 each. I saw all brands of Rvs there and all years. They told me it is very common with dual pane windows, no matter what price coach. They do an excellent job and provide full hook ups while work is being done.
  • Suncoast Designers in Hudson, FL will remove them, take them apart, clean them, reseal and put back for about $250.00 per window with a 10 year warranty.

  • I assume that you are talking about dual pain windows. probably got a batch of that company that are all falling apart. look elsewhere or plan on paying to have a company reinstall all of your windows. don't buy it. and don't let cheap imitation windows be priced out for you.
