I see the ads on tv and wonder if it would work on a motor home...just a thought....

- I noticed you were inquiring about the TV flex seal. My brother said that it is a waste of time and money. I have a 86 Sunland Express,toyota mini and I used the PRO FLEX RV in a caulking gun to seal my seams. I got a bottle cap and put mineral spirits in it and after using the sealant I dipped my middle finger in it and just rubbed the sealant and it made it smooth and feathered out really well. Sure beats silicon sealant, and if needed to be removed in future, would be lots easier.
We have had our mini-motor home since 2009 and have really liked it. Only has 27K miles. I'm on the Toyota camper site too. BobandShaz wrote:

Ditto on my rain gutters.- Flexseal will work for a small leak in a dire emergency. But, get yourself some proper sealant from camping world and save the heartache down the road.

Same issues on a tin garden shed :(- One guy that worked with us used tar in a can on a rubber roof repair. This is wrong it caused it to bubble. Always need to know what product can be used where.
- I have made repairs where people have used it in an attempt to fix water leaks ( skylight leak, fresh water leak, and a shower pan leak ), simply, it does not work!! Makes it more difficult to do the correct repair.
- Petroleum distillates don't work well on rubber roofs.
- Picked up a can of Rustoleum brand clear spray sealant. I haven't applied it, and don't know if it will be better or worse, but I didn't know that made it until I saw it at Menards. Don't think I'll use it on the rv roof though.
- Personally I have never had anything advertised on TV to live up to its claims.
