A little over a year ago I posted that I used Flex Seal on a tough seal job on the roof. And I was happy.I was told to wait a year and then report back. Because they said that I would say something something different the performance after a year was poor.Well I am here to tell you that it performed beautifully.I believe it was properly preparing the substrate before I applied the product.I brushed it on and applied two coats it has performed as advertised.Jesseannie

glad the product worked for you. Your the first I've read on several forums that had good luck using Flexseal as a RV sealant. However Real rv sealants can last for years so time and lots of users having good luck with it will tell its story. I've yet to see a pro rv repair shop/person recommend Flexseal for a long term rv sealant big fix or repair job.

Good to know - I suspect that the sun is the culprit in Flex-seal degradation?? You're in OR :-)
One spring, I used Flex-seal on the roof seams of our old sunroom on our Florida condo, that leaked like a sieve. Worked great.

When we returned the next fall - the Flex-seal was simply GONE. No signs of anything having been done (and leaking like crazy again).

Some birds enjoy the taste of flex seal.

They show using flexseal on a rv roof on TV so it's got to be true it's good ??

The transom panels on my boat were carpeted and the sun rotted the carpet out. I made new panels and did a couple coats of Flex Seal. It has worked great for going on 5 years now.
