We used "Drop and Done", a vinyl product. In stick houses that's just what they do. In motohomes, the installer recommended that we glue it down. It's been in for several years and still looks good. There are some scratches from the slide but it's not noticeable unless you look for it. We used one of the blue/grey shades, like a barn board. That particular colour no longer available.
