- fla-gypsyExplorerGet away from the tourist areas and look up local golf courses there are plenty of places
- peaches_creamExplorerWe spent last January (2013) at Elite RV Resot, which is south od Clermont. We played many rounds at http://www.legendsgolforlando.com/ It was very reasonable for Jan. and got progressivly higher in Feb. and March. It is a beautiful course.

DH and I are (happily) spending the early months of 2014 around Orlando...and we love to play golf. Any research I've done about how much a round of golf costs has been discouraging. Anybody know where we can play golf without having to mortgage the house?
Suggestions much appreciated.
My full timer friend plays and says the best bang for the buck, is to stay in an RV Golf Resort and has done so during the winter months near the space center and Titusville. If you're interested in doing that, PM me and I'll run down the name of the place. I do remember it looking pretty nice. - Farley1ExplorerThere are plenty of cheap golfing places in Orlando. in the $25 to $45 range. Call around. Try Eagle Creek, Stoney Brook or Eastwood to name a few. Also Royal St. Cloud.
- conmotoExplorerX2 on Golf Now. We use it everywhere we travel and it`s where find the best deals. To be clear we have not used it yet in Florida but will this winter in the Arcadia area.I have been checking and if you play at certain times it can be reasonable.
- AliCatExplorerDon't know much about what it costs to play golf in the Orlando area other than I have been told that it is expensive. There are places to play in Florida that are very inexpensive and the courses are great. The area around Lakeland, Bartow, Wauchula, Avon Park and Sebring has several courses that you can play in the $30 range. I know this isn't Orlando but if you go a little south of there you will find good golf courses with reasonable prices.
- looking2009ExplorerTry Golf Now we use it all the time.

Inexpensive and Florida Golf do not mix. You have to pay for the sunshine somehow. - Skipper_RodExplorerNot really, golf is expensive down there. That's why I love the midwest. Tons of courses at really good prices. Most courses I play in the midwest are around 35 to 40 bucks a round. Winter rates are 20 with cart
