Hi All,
Any thoughts/experience with FMCA Roadside assistance? You can currently get 6 years for $260. Reading thru the coverage, it appears to be very extensive. Vehicle Assistance Company is the provider.
Thanks
Dan

whats the towing distance? what size MH? any restrictions - tonkasmanExplorerHi there i am researching purchasing Road side assistance
All the companies literature are about breakdowns
I would like towing coverage if involved in an accident while traveling
Your input is appreciated
Thanks - BigRabbitManExplorerTowing after an accident is the responsibility of your accident insurance, not roadside assistance insurance. Review your regular insurance for an answer.

wow that's 1/2 of what my good sam charges me iam going to look into it - TradewindsExplorerI had good luck with GS roadside in the past but two years ago they towed me to a shop that did not and would not work on Diesel MHs. I called back and they told me only one tow per problem. I explained they towed me to a shop that did not work on diesels but it made no difference.
I have Progressive for my insurance and they will also tow you and take care of flat repairs etc..
I switched to FMCA and have had excellent service from them, plus if you are off the road due to a problem they cover you for 7days up to $1500 for a place to stay and food while you wait for repairs. You have to be so many miles from home, forget the mileage required but it was reasonable.
