We are members of FMCA, Good Sam and Escapees, that said each has it's strong points and weak points. At present we're most disappointed with the change to long term sites in some of the Escapee parks. As fulltimers we would travel to different parks, now it's hard to get a 50 amp site at some, because those locations have been taken by long term renters with the Rv that is on the site being a 30 amp unit. This I look at just as FMCA opening up membership to towables, Escapees have gone to long term sites so their "older" members can park their RVs and cease to travel and still fulltime keeping those membership funds in the system. Good Sam Rallies used to have dealers and vendors outside of the Camping World umbrella, that wasn't the case at the last national rally we attended, which was disappointing.
