Fogged window glass.

I have a fogged drivers side window. Is there a place here in Oregon that repairs these? I live in southern Oregon.
  • Unless their dual pane Windows any good glass shop should be able to replace the glass.
  • Dave Root RV glass repair is in Bend Oregon. They do the dual pane repairs or will sell you a kit to do it yourself. I did mine and it is not to bad to do.
  • RV Glass Solutions in Coburg, OR should be able to handle all your glass problems.
  • Dave Root did mine, and I was very happy with the work. The place in Coburg OR mentioned in one of the above post also does replacement of dual pane windows with one thick pane. I believe the cost of the single pane is the same as having your dual panes resealed. You'll never have to worry about fogged windows again. My next go around, I'll go the thicker panes. The insulation factor between the dual and the thicker panes are very similar. Dual panes will leak over time no matter what. I understand many of the manufacturers are going to the thicker panes. You have a big windshield that's single pane.
  • Peninsula Glass DBA Motion Windows http://www.rvwindows.com/applications/rv-window-repair/ Is probably the best there is when it comes to fixing RV dual pane windows. Check them out.

An old friend had them remake a window for him so that the bar that had been blocking the driver and passenger views was raised about 6 inches. He was very pleased with their work.

Repairing failed seals is no problem for them.
  • Thanks for your responses. Will look into these suggested companies.
  • I had RV Glass repair a few of my windows and they did a good job. I also bought Dave Roots repair kit and resealed a few more of my windows. The new seals come with a desiccant imbedded in the seal. That should greatly reduce the fogging. I am very happy with my reseal job.
  • Dave Root will come to your location and work on your windows instead of you having to take your RV to his shop.
