FYI, I have a bum right leg and the effort required to hold the pedal was killer for me, upon inspection I find that there are three extension springs on the Accelerator pedal and the actual switch, I simply removed one spring which cut the effort by 1/3 !!!! simple effective and still enough tension to work Better than New
