For those who _insist_ on a unique RV

I was thinking it was $16,500 then I had to go back and look at the price again. Didn't really get my juices flowing at $16,500. Now I think the guy is REALLY proud of it. I bet the termites get it before he gets an offer....

That's what I was thinking, too! Everything he used for building materials is heavy...

For starters, it looks like you'd need a stepladder to get in and out of the rig. Then there's possible termite or woodpecker damage. And I sure wouldn't want to be within 30 feet of a campfire - ever. :)

It certainly looks interesting - I really like the wood stove and the entry door. The all wood interior is amazing too. That said, if I were going to spend that kind of money I'd build one myself just how ~I~ wanted it to be. As for the books, I would have expected more (but I'm weird like that.)

Googled "housetruck" and found some really unique ones! Even the Clampetts probably wouldn't ride in some of them :D

Interesting he doesn't mention what motor is in that chassis. I think I know why. That much brass and wood just screams "old" to me. Didn't see any A/C either.

In some countries, they call these housetrucks. I've never seen one that appeared to be as well-made as this. Maybe the seller gets his joy out of the design-build process and isn't interested once the product is finished?
