Since the 1970's I've towed race cars on trailers and flat towed vehicles roughly 70,000 miles. Total weights have been between 2400-3400 lbs. Non had braking systems installed.
Two years ago I bought a new CRV to tow behind our RV. I installed an
auxiliary braking sysem, and I would NEVER GO BACK. The difference in stopping and confidence is incredible.
Please don't make the mistake of thinking your coach will handle the 3003-5000 lbs of tow vehicle. IT WON'T.
Pay for it and put yourself at ease. It makes a world of difference.
