I would have to agree with those who said that bringing the furry kids along wasn't the primary reason for buying an RV but was a fringe benefit since we really don't like to leave them or kennel them when we travel. We are new to the RV lifestyle but in the 4 months since we bought our Itasca Class A the pups get crazy when they see us pull up to load, knowing they are going on another adventure!
We have two furry kids - MacDuff is a Border Collie/Springer mix rescue, and Piper is a English Springer Spaniel rescue - along with our youngest human kid, a 14-year old daughter. Both pups are excellent travelers! Now if I could just keep them off the dash when we go off shopping... I always have to keep glass cleaner nearby as their little nose prints end up wiped all over the windshield!
It's good to know that I'm not the only one constantly cleaning the insde of my windshield due to doggy nose smears./ Larry
Us times 3 on that! I clean the windshield, she makes her presence known on it, I clean it, she does it again, she wins.
