Ford 5 speed auto
Hi, been looking at class c's and would like to know what year ford started installing the 5 speed auto tranny in the E350 and E450 with the v 10 for motorhomes. thanks

Actually the Ford 5R110W Torqshift transmission uses only 5 speeds in any given environment, but does have a gear that is used only in an alternate 5 speed shift pattern when temperatures are below zero or something like that.
So it has 6 gears internally, but only 5 are used at any given time. In Class C usage above zero, you'll only ever see the same 5 gears.
