That is a good suggestion. Do be aware that sometimes the dash radios in RVs are wired to the house battery and not the chassis battery (and hence are not switched with the ignition), and sometimes even have a switch that allows for either setup. There should be the Ford factory wire for the radio power behind the dashboard somewhere regardless; that's the one you'd want to use.
