Ford Edge as a Tow Vehicle??

I'd be very cautious about what ANY dealer says. The sales staff (my experience) with few exceptions, know NOTHING about ANYTHING except what the new car on the sales floor costs. Get into "towing packages" and such....their eyes cloud over and will tell you what you want to hear...to sell the car.

RESEARCH your Edge. Owners manual should tell you if you can tow 4-down, on a dolly or on a full car trailer. Also, Motorhome Monthly has a list of all towable cars...I think that is on their website. Check it out.
