Ford Edge as a Tow Vehicle??

Did you buy a Ford Edge? We did, 2014, and have a dead battery every day. Followed the manual, talked to two Ford Dealers and now have a case number with Ford waiting for someone to tell us what is wrong. Love the car BUT this is not working for us. Read forums and others have added a Toad Charger, still waiting for some confirmation. Others say there is a second ACC position. What did you do if you bought this car..we have owned 2 jeeps and miss their convenience.
