If things seem impossible, look for an easier way. Remember, their techs must be able to this job quickly and easily. There are three (3) bolts holding the brake assembly in place. Remove them, pull the assembly down to expose it. It may look like there are four, but the top one closest to you does not hold the assembly. The top bolt is just a bit behind that one. The switch is right there, a snap to replace. My switch cost $16 from Ford. Too cheap to mess with the old one.
