Have you ever wondered why Ford spends the extra money to drill a second hole in the sway bar? No, it isn't an accident, it's an option.
Ford gives you the choice which hole you use, the default is the bottom hole, but I much preferred the top, stiffer, position when I had an F-53. I found it made a remarkable, positive difference in the ride quality.
The F-53 chassis is used as a platform for many different vehicles. In our case, I think the top position is best.
