I have a 99 F53 v10 chassis with about 80k miles. Last summer it wouldn't start one day.Had DW hold the key in the start position and I tapped the starter with a hammer.Started right up.Couple weeks later it did the same thing.I TAPPED the starter about 100 times,no luck.Replaced starter all is good now.
