Look at the list of options on the Transit Van, if the up-fitters are willing to let the buyer order a Transit Van with all the options it would be a very nice upscale van to build on. I think comparable to the MB. If Roadtrek, or PW were going to build on the Promaster we would have heard/seen something by now.
Windcrasher, no one is knocking the Promaster, it's just not going to be the best chassis to build a Class B on, and I doubt many, if any manufactures are going to build on both.
I have been on this forum for 12 years, so I'm not a newbee to Class B's. I think over those years I have gotten a feel for what manufactures are going to do. Of course I could be wrong, and it's all jmo anyway, which a lot of time isn't worth much.
As far as the Ranger, it hasn't been a big seller, but they may keep it, or just build a similar unit on the smaller Transit Van.
Like I said in a previous post, I think a lot will depend on the Fleet prices, but I would be happy to pay more for a B built on the Transit Van, rather than a Promaster. If I was buying Id be looking at keeping a new Class B for ten years, a few thousand more over that period isn't going to matter compared to not getting what I want.
