The Titan pickup was designed from scratch and built in America exclusively for the American market just a decade ago. I had one. It was a good pickup and even pickup of the year once. But the Nissan van is a make do adoptive hybrid and not much of a true van either by classical American standards (Econoline) or Euro standards (Transit.)
As far as rear wheel drive train goes I think I would give the nod to Ford for experience. As to technical, I don't have enough knowledge to judge that.
For Class B conversion ability I would have to give the nod to the Ford Transit as a pro and the Nissan as a con. From what I have seen from Sportsmobile and Roadtrek it doesn't make for much of a good Class B as the useable van body is just too short for the over all length. If you liked the size of the T1N Sprinter I think you'll like the potential of the Transit better.
