If the batteries are low they may have had enought charge to extend the slides, but not enough left to bring em back in. A lot of rigs do have a reset switch, sometimes located in the or near the battery. Seems like the dealer might have reset and hooked another battery up to bring in the slides.
If your thinking of buying, have the dealer install new batteries, and run the slides in n out several times.
As for a direct # to Forest River, good luck. You'd have better luck getting in touch with the president of the USA. All FR will do is direct you back to the dealer.
