- Big_KatunaExplorer IIMy buddy is a Foretravel owner and fan. I believe the 320 has more standard features like Aqua Hot, Walnut instead of Oak, etc. same build quality. But most Foretravels are built to order so you really need to compare two specific units. You might find a 295 you like better.
Plus I am not an Aqua Hot fan. - John_S_Explorer IIThe insides are mostly the same on a 295 and 320. 270 is only oak. The others can be cherry or walnut. The 320 has an Allison 4000 and the cummins ISM and the 295 has the ISC and Allison 3000. They can be optioned exactly alike other then the engine and transmission.
- John_S_Explorer IIBtw I have had a 270 and two 320s and I would not have a coach without Aquahot.
- Mr_Mark1ExplorerNever had a Foretravel, they sure are nice. I don't understand the 'no Aqua-Hot' comment.
We had the Aqua-Hot system in our Dynasty and it was perfect. Heats water, heats the coach, heats the engine.... what's not to love?
Our new coach has the 83,000 btu Espar heating system which is like an Aqua-Hot but we also have a hot water tank (maybe two... I need to check)... anyway, it works well.
MM. - Big_KatunaExplorer III'm the negative Aqua Hot commenter. Never had it. We have tailgated 20!years at UF reserved RV lot so know many higher end RV owners and we talk.
Many like it, get a long fine with a yearly service but have known more than a few that have had nothing but problems, harder to find competent service and wish for a simpler system.
If it works for you great. The older I get the simpler I want things.
