We bought our 2300 Sunseeker from RvDirect.com and drove 300 miles to pick it up. Their price was $8000 less than the best dealer price I could get--and the closest dealer was already a couple hundred miles away. The PDI from RvDirect was outstanding. Everything was checked out and working. Since then we have had only a few minor issues. FR helped with them all, including sending small parts so I could repair myself, and arranging a nearby dealer to fix a heat pump issue.
We love our floor plan (no slides) because everything is usable when on the road. We sometimes stop at rest areas for a few hours sleep or to have a meal and can get to everything, including the ready-to-use bed. Unit is small enough to handle in city driving and parking, shopping centers, etc. Have not used a toad, but have rented a car on a few occasions where we were staying longer and using campsite as a base for further travel.
