Four Winds or Jayco Greyhawk

What is the amount of months Fourwinds warranties their Motorhomes? I have a window issue on a 2007

We've only had our Greyhawk for two months but we love it so far. On our fourth trip right now so we're getting some experience with it.

The Greyhawk is the "upscale entry model" so I think the Redhawk may be a more fair comparison with the Four Winds, which is interesting considering how close they are in price. Based on the ones we looked at of both models, though, the Greyhawk really looked and felt nicer. Higher quality interiors and such.

There are still a few things that are kinda silly on it, though. Like putting the TV near the ceiling in the bedroom...the screen blacks out at that angle if you're not sitting up straight on the bed, so I swapped the cabinetry around to make it more user friendly. I think most RVs in this price range are likely to have some quirks like that that you'd have to compromise on.

Just purchased the Greyhawk. It's sitting in our driveway as I type. For the price range, we thought it was the best quality. Now, time to make Spring Break plans! Good luck with your decision.

My Four winds developed a crack in the shower pan. Although it was a few weeks out of warranty they replaced the shower pan and the surround. At the same time they pressure tested the water and gas lines. No charge.

Jayco really honors their warranty, had a 08 and in last
month of warr had a window leak plus stained paneling and
they made it good thru local Jayco dealer.

that's a lot of ching in my budget....it'll lose half it's value in a few years....I'd look at used....and if you have to spend that much a higher quality DP would be more worthwhile to me....theres a bunch of them out there.....just my 2 cents

Just sold our Four Winds with a chevy engine after 8 years. We had downsized from an a 31' bounded class A. We were were very happy with it understanding what we purchased. Three areas that would sway my recommendation, Four Winds had 7 leaf rear springs, very stiff, limited water and holding tank capacity and wish we had ford engine except for smaller Chevy engine cowl. I agree that jay I finishes are a little more upscale. Having said that price is also important.

Had to toss a coin between the Greyhawk 31DS and the Forest River 31??, tough decision on trade-offs. Forester has better sewer hook up; too many windows in bedroom (for hot weather areas); microwave was under cabinet - too low; roomier bedroom; sofa too small; Greyhawk had solid helper springs instead of inflatable bags; 2-year Warranty; better windows (smaller); longer wheel base - more difficult to turn but better weight handling;...it's not an easy decision. And the Greyhawk was less $$.

Yes the Jayco has a 2 year warranty. At least they did when we bought ours 3 years ago.
