Four Winds

We have an Itasca and have been very happy with it and Winnebago. We are now looking at a new Four Winds by Thor.
Is Thor as good to work with as Winnebago? Has anyone had any big problems with Thor?

Thanks,
Dusty
  • We have owned two Winnebago products , and two Thor products. Winnebago is by far the better quality. That said, the Four Winds Class C we have recently inspected had what I consider a more liveable floor plan. If the choice came down to most bang for the buck, I would have to go with Winnebago.

We also recently inspected a Phoenix Cruiser. I was very impressed with that product. Very well crafted.
  • Nothing major wrong with our Four Winds. Minor issues, yes. Our model does not have the full side that has been an issue in some 33SW models. Many posts here about the full slide issues.Good luck. I can't help you with having to deal with the manufacturer, thankfully, haven't needed to.

Four Winds' build quality is not nearly as good as Winnebago. After owning a Winnebago you will be disappointed with the Four Winds.
  • I cannot give a comparison. We have 2015 Thor Four Winds Siesta Sprinter, our first RV.

We bought Dec 2014, so only a short time but we love ours. A few minor furnishing type items needed taking care by Dealer, prior to purchase. We have just 9000 miles on ours. For us, no problems at all.

Its not a high end unit but certainly good, we feel workmanship is in line with the price point. May go with higher qulity in the future.
