Right now we are camping in Mobile, Al. 2 nights ago the forecast called for real cold weather. So I dumped the tanks and disconnected the water hose and drained it. So yesterday morning it was 13F. No water. Faucet outside was frozen solid. I attempted to thaw it with a hair dryer to no avail. Then my neighbor showed up with a kettle of boiling water. That fixed the faucet. We still had a problem though. No water inside. So I heated a bowl of water in the microwave oven and put it in the wet bay. After an hour we had a trickle. Another bowl of hot water did the trick. I left a faucet trickle overnight and it worked.
So this morning it was 20F. I went out to dump the grey tank s
since I had used quite a bit of water to make sure it was still running. So both dump valves are frozen solid.
Back to the hot water routine.
Good news is that the weather is supposed to moderate.
