Fridge replacement

Hi,
I have a 4 door Norcold in a 2008 bounder diesel model 38 N.
Thinking about installing a residential fridge and am asking what would be the closest fit with minimal if any cabinet or woodwork.
I realize I will have to bring it in via a side window (removed).
Thank you.
  • Well since they found that it was the cooling unit that was shot and that Cornerstone warranty will cover 100%, except for $100 ded,it's fully covered and so I'm not looking for a new fridge. :B
  • Check US Appliance, $1,245.00 delivered to your front door. I bought the Samsung 197 for $1,230.00 delivered and it is the best improvement to our 2000 Discovery. You will love it!

  • I am in the process of looking and have heard a lot of good things about the Samsung RF197,BUT after looking for prices, I have found that has been discontinued and they are suggesting the Samsung RF18HFENBSR as a replacement. It is 70 13/16" tall with the hinges,321/4" wide,24 3/8 deep w/o doors and handles and 30 1/2 " overall. It's also 17.8 CF. I'm still looking for a price on it.

The Samsung would not fit in our slide, plus we don't full-time, so we went with a 16 cu. ft. that was short enough to fit. Works great for us, 4 cu. ft. more than what we had.

    What refrigerator did you use?

  • Samsung RF 197 seems to be most common replacement.
Same width/depth but roughly 6" taller

HERE is a post about it
