I told electrician I wanted a 30 amp outlet for my motorhome. I supplied the adapter to him before installation. Yes he is licensed and has done work for me for years on several properties I own. We have a good relationship. Yes there was a permit.
Bob, you did nothing wrong. I respect your friendship with your electrician. He made a mistake. Mistakes happen, however, this one is serious. Someone could have been seriously hurt, or killed. I am a licensed electrician, and this is NEVER done. Ever. I am sure your electrician will make this right. He needs to. Just grateful no one was hurt.
