I wouldn't be able to check to make sure he did it right, nor would I know what information to give him up front other than what I wanted for my MH.
This is not the first time we've heard of "mistakes" by electricians.

Owning an RV means you also have to do your homework and become knowledgable about your rig.
That said, if the socket provided to Mr. Professional Electrician was stamped 120v, then he's most likely the bad guy. But, that doesn't mean all the damaged stuff will be paid for by him a timely fashion. OP better hope he has good insurance. What a pain.
