On my wet hubs, the circle line is the minimum oil fill. There is a plug in the middle where you add the fluid. You cannot overfill it since any excess would run out that hole with the plug removed to fill it. Mine uses the 80/90 weight wheel bearing oil.
Filling that way, will put the oil level above the inner seal. as soon as the seal wears a little the oil will ruin a set of shoes. or lubricate your disk. and ruin a set of pads..
Wrong! Here is what the owner's manual says
As you can see, the circle line says minimum oil level.

AND....at now 10 years of age, those plastic viewing retainers of yours are likely soon to fail!! (Please do not ask me how I know that - mine failed (Spartan chassis with Eaton axles) halfway down the Columbia River Road and I had to make-up a temp bearing grease retainer from a plastic coffee can lid!!)
They are cheap to purchase - but are usually a special order item in most parts stores - 3 to 5 days wait! Put in a new set at your earliest convenience to minimize future difficulties!!

Well... there goes two more things into the survival kit. Mine are still quite clear at 15 years.
