SuperSteer is a product line founded by Henderson's Line-Up in Grants Pass Oregon. As a manufacturer they have a dealer network. They may be able to suggest a shop in your area.

and the general consensus is you want to get as much RH +caster as the available adjustable sleeves will give you, after the camber has been satisfied. Then the LH +caster should be set at about 0.3 to 0.5 degrees less then the RH +caster.

The adjustable sleeves are known as either Ingalls 594 OR SPC794 (PN 24180).

The Ford specified +caster, for example the year 2012, is:
    LH +1.0 to +6.8
    RH +1.4 to +7.2

Factory caster settings appear to be mid range but IMO, you will have better highway handling if the caster is at least +5.0 to +5.5 degrees or better.

In my opinion, the effective caster is also influenced by load weight and tire inflation pressure. Running tires at their maximum pressure may not result is the optimum effective caster. So, tire pressure should be set to the pressure appropriate to the actual load.

Search this forum for caster and you will get tons of discussion on the topic.

  • Call Bensons in Webster or there are a couple of places on the east side of the city between Navigation and I-10 that do truck chassis.
