Wow .... quite the project! You might want to bottle up and sell whatever's giving you all the energy to take on a project like that! That's an outstanding photo-report on your project!
You mentioned that part of the reason for the rebuild was to get improved front brakes. I assume your Class C is on the E450 chassis?
Our Class C is on a 2005 E450 chassis and has so far had very long front brake pad life .... we have 49,000+ miles on them with 70-80% of the original pads left. Our mechanic keeps saying - and I can see it when I look at them - that there is no need yet to replace the front pads. However, we just finally had the rears replaced ... I thought rear pads were supposed to be the long lasting ones?
However, I have always very religiously used the TorqShift transmission with it's Tow/Haul mode ON whenever descending down grades, so the V10 has done most of the motorhome's downhill braking since we bought the rig 9 years ago. This may be a big help in extending front brake pad life.
