Is it possible to get a NUT into the frame? I doubt it, but thought I'd ask.
Nope, there isn't room to get a nut in there because I checked!! That's exactly what I was thinking - it seemed like the most practical solution to me, too. But, no, there's juts a few gaps to allow for, I assume, drainage but not a nut. If I could get a nut and washer on the other side of the bolt, this would be a no-brainer, for sure.
But, okay, I just wanted to see if my work-around made any sense. I really hate half-assed work but I am looking at a strange situation that sometimes happens when you are doing non-standard work.
