My PFJ loyalty card lowers gas prices by $0.03. I don't know how much the GS card lowers them. My PenFed Cash Rewards Visa card lowers the price an additional $0.05 on the dollar credited on each monthly statement, so gas that's posted at $3.00 per gallon costs me $2.82.
An additional advantage of the "myRewards Card" is the other discounts that come with it, such as 10% off meals at participating Denny's restaurants, mostly the ones at PFJ locations not surprisingly.
