Does anyone know the fuel economy of the new Thor Super C? The Super C with the 6.7L Diesel engine by Ford. Since Diesel cost est 14% more than Gas.
Diesel pricing will vary widely with season and location, currently in the Midwest gas and diesel are priced the same and in some areas l is 10% cheaper than gas.
In the east diesel competes with home heating oil so in winter the price will go up and summer down.
Just finished a 2200 mile trip and diesel vs gas pricing was -5% to +16% .
That super C has merit, I tried to find one to test drive.............big question is how noisy is it in the passenger area. FRED (front engine diesels) are known for noise and other class A front diesels did not sell well, and many are traded early. Many manufactures stopped making "FREDs." A smaller class A chassis diesels are more common like the Palazzo.
Nexus is an other super C that I thought was priced well, that has an International chassis.
Dealers seem to be afraid to order super C for inventory..............
