Jerry, your comment about Tx and CDL brought back something. Between 6 and 9 years ago on the Class A forum there was a discussion of license requirements. One of the participants was from Texas. He was a photographer who used his motorhome in his work. He decided to put some advertising and photos on the walls of the motorhome and that was when he got a shock. He was pulled over and asked for his license. Since he was how driving a "commercial vehicle over 26,000 lbs" he required a CDL. The advertising made it a commercial vehicle.
