Fuel economy on Thor Super C

When they are selling these vehicles with these totally worthless and PITA DEF systems, they all tell you that they only require 1 gallon per 1,000 to 1,500 miles. I have found that to be an outright lie and even had my truck back to Freightliner to fix the error code for a clogged DEF injector and check consumption. They told me it was good and there is no way to reduce the usage.

So thanks to the EPA we now have diesel engines that cost more to operate, cost an additional $10K for all the junk that will go bad probably sooner than later. We also get worse mileage and less power too.

I am not an expert about the DEF but I believe the usage is somewhat related to fuel use.
