A buddy of mine was just telling me that he had a few customers in his shop lately due to this issue. They are typically elderly and use their vehicles very little. The weather turns cold and the six month old, summer blend gas creates drivability issues. Due to EPA regs. There are huge differences in gas composition at different times of the year. Unfortunately, several posters here are not correct. You can run into issues with gas that has been sitting for a while, and it can lead to drivability problems and even throw CEL codes. I use a product called "star-tron" in any fuel tank that is going to sit for more than a few weeks. I work with several landscapers and tree services that swear by the stuff and use it religiously.
