RoyBExplorer IIJan 12, 2014It seems Years ago old gasoline would turn to varnish/turpentine but todays modern gasoline probably turns to corn syrup...Leaving gasoline in a fuel tank for a very long time will eat up a tank mounted fuel pump seals big time.You most definitely can smell bad gasoline when it starts smelling like varnish or turpentine.
