Thanks for the info. I'll check out those hoses.
The foam may have it glued in. I can see a crack in the foam along the right frame rail where the tank has moved very slightly.
The filler tube does have a rubber coupling, but it's clamped on the inside of the frame rail. The hole I cut in the floor allowed me to get that clamp off.
I'll have to goof around with it some more today.
