the best way to figure MPG
is to stop when it kicks off
in multiple stops it might very a little per stop, but it will avg out
what you want to know is how many gal, since the last stop
stopping when it clicks off is the best way to obtain this, force feeding will be different every time , unless you fill it to the top of the fill tube, every time, and that is Not a good idea , and as you found out a very slow process
