The lowest I ever saw the gauge had the needle well below the E and I was seriously stressed driving into a big head wind. It was the happiest 75 gallons I ever pumped in my life. So, how much does the Kodiak really hold and how much of what it holds is really usable? And is the gas different from the diesel version? I guess I will have to look for the tag. Thanks.
The 109 gallon tank allows for expansion as fuel temperature changes. 80 is the average capacity of usable fuel. Fuel leaves tank through a drop pipe from top of tank that does not touch bottom of tank.
The diesel engine uses same tank and fuel sender. But do not have a fuel pump. Fuel is sucked from engines CP3 pump.
