full timer--stranded nearly 2 yr--storm damage

I have been stranded for nearly 2 years in Tuckerman, Ar., due to storm damage received to my motorhome, and cannot get slideout in--BEEN UNABLE TO LOCATE ANY MOBILE RV REPAIR UNIT TO COME OUT AND GET MY SLIDEOUT IN, SO THAT I CAN DRIVE IT TO A SHOP FOR REPAIRS--NEAREST LARGE RV REPAIR FACILITY IS IN LITTLE ROCK (80+ MILES FROM HERE)
GMAC INSURANCE HAS SENT AN ADJUSTER OUT AND MADE AN ESTIMATE OF $6500.00---I contacted HWH--jacks work fine--offered remedy to get slideout in--i am alone with just my yorkie travel companion (Buddy)--to accomplish HWH suggestion requires crawling under the coach---i am handicaped--not readily able to get up and down off the ground
Any and all suggestions welcome
My home base is in Ohio

  • get the roadside assistance, and then call it in. they will tow it for you.
  • 2 years ago?, why have you waited so long, your claim could be closed by now, your insurance company should have arrange for towing as well, better make sure your claim is still up..
  • Are you in a campground? If so....doesn't office staff have a business card for RV repairs?

Give 'Dependable RV Repair' a call...they are just soutwest (501) 729-5115

Or call 'Moix RV' (501) 327-2255

If they can't help they should know of someone who can.

You just need to be more pro-active in finding help.
Unless you are parked somewhere all alone.....ask your neighbors, other folks for help.
Call up a handyman.have him crawl under rig.
  • Contact Good Sams by phone and explain your situation. As a Life member, I am sure that they can offer some assistance in locating help. Their number is 866/205-7451

This RV dealer is only 35 miles away and I would think that they could send someone out. Mashburn RV, Jonesboro, AR
  • Did the storm nearly two years ago crush or deform you sideout?

How do you get food and other supplies?
