Full timers MH ins

I haven't called Progressive yet, but wondered if anyone can tell me if a full timers policy also covers the toad. Or does a person have to file a separate claim under the Toad's policy?
  • Toad is separate and to protect you in case it comes lose you will need to carry full coverage.
  • I don't believe Progressive provides full timer insurance...at least they didn't several years ago..be sure you are getting what you think you are. That said, in answer to your question, the toad is a separate policy. We have National Insurance and have been very pleased with their cost and handling of claims...multi million dollar policy cost us just under $2k/yr with diminishing deductibles...YMMV.....Dennis
  • Progressive did offer full timers insurance back in 2002 until at least 2005. We had their coverage until we moved from NH to SD in 2005 and switched to GMAC because they were cheaper. In both cases we had one policy with two sections - one for the coach and one for the toad.
  • What you need is a GOOD INDEPENDENT insurance agent.
He can save you money and heartache.
  • Progressive does have full timer's insurance. We have the MH and the toad insured with them. Yes, the toad is on a separate policy.
