Funky situation on our first trip with our DP! Please Help

Does your coach have a auto switch? The switch selects input from shore,gen,or chassis. It is usually located near where the cord for shore power enters the coach and is labeled as such. Make sure you have disconnected shore power, open cover tighten all the pole screws, and look for any signs of shorts or spark arcs.
I had a similar problem as I could charge from gen or alternater but not shore power. Just tightened the screws and that fixed it.
