The charger you selected is just a basic charge from what I read about. You need a smart charge that can properly charge your batterie and not boil them. In our 2003 Cross Country I replaced the original charger with a Progressive Dynamics Charger.

You have two 6 volt batteries in series producing 12v. Two 6v batteries in sries give you more battery capacity than 2 12v in series.
